Day 01 – Wednesday, June 16, 2010
Depart Canada

Fly to Beijing.

Day 02 - Thursday, June 17, 2010
Arrive Beijing (D)

Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to The Ritz Carlton Financial Street Hotel – 5* for two nights. Before dinner, visit historic Tian An Men Square where Mao Tse Tung first raised the flag of the People's Republic. This evening enjoy welcome dinner at a local restaurant. If time permits, we will stroll along Wangfujing Street to experience Beijing's most vibrant retail shopping area.

Beijing Imperial Palace

Day 03 – Friday, June 18, 2010
Beijing (B/L/SD)

Start the day with a visit to the Imperial Palace, also called the Forbidden City and its gardens. After lunch, experience the unforgettable! Visit one of the world's most remarkable sights – the Great Wall of China, built over 2,000 years ago by Emperor Qin. The Great Wall stretches over 6,000 km across the top of China. En-route, stop at a Jade factory and see top local craftspeople at work. Return to the city with a drive through the Olympic Parks; view the Water Cube and the Bird's Nest. Tonight, enjoy a Peking duck dinner at a selected local restaurant followed by the spectacular "Legend of Kung Fu" show.

Day 04 – Saturday, June 19, 2010
Beijing – Hangzhou (B/L/D)

Morning transfer to the airport for flight to Hangzhou, a city called "Heaven on the Earth". Upon arrival, you will be met and checked-in to the hotel. In the afternoon, sightseeing the Lin Yin Temple. Take a boat ride on the West Lake. This evening enjoy an amazing show "Impression of West Lake" – a love story featuring more than 200 artists performing on the surface of the lake. Stay one night at Shangri-La Hotel Hangzhou - 5*.

Day 05 – Sunday, June 20, 2010
Hangzhou – Yi Wu (B/D)

In the morning, walk along the West Lake. Afterwards depart for Yi Wu (approx 1.5 hours), also know as the "world's largest wholesale city". Yi Wu commodity market possesses an area of 1.5 million sq.m. and has more than 40,000 stores, collects 28 categories and about 200,000 varieties of daily goods. Stay two nights at Best Western Premier Ocean Hotel (best available).

Day 06 – Monday, June 21, 2010

Enjoy your full day shopping at the Yi Wu Markets. See if you can find deals like a pair of running shoes for CAD$2, you can definitely make this trip worthwhile.

Day 07 – Tuesday, June 22, 2010
Yi Wu – Suzhou (B/D)

This morning depart for Suzhou, a town so charming it was previously called the "Venice of the East". Visit the town's classical gardens maintained by Chinese nobility for centuries. Then visit the Lingering Garden and the Embroidery Research Institute, where wonderful silk paintings are made. Visit Time Square to view the world's largest LED screen featuring the latest films. Overnight at the Kempinski Hotel Suzhou – 5*.

Day 08 – Wednesday, June 23, 2010
Suzhou – Shanghai (B/D)

This morning, visit Suzhou Museum. Originally opened in 1960, the Suzhou Museum's collection of art and objects was originally housed in the adjacent residence of Prince Zhong, a high-ranking official in the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom. In October 2006, the new structure designed by I.M. Pei whose family hails from Suzhou, opened as the new showplace for the collection. After lunch, enjoy a boat ride on the Grand Canal. Late afternoon, depart for Shanghai. Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel. Stay three nights at the Fairmont Peace Hotel – 5*.

Day 09 – Thursday, June 24, 2010
Shanghai (B/D)

A full day of sightseeing will introduce you to the sights and sounds of this unique and modern city of Shanghai. You will visit the Garden of Mandarin Yu Yuan, a garden built in 1577 and recently resorted to its original glory; the Jade Buddha Temple followed by a visit to Silk Carpet Factory. Also visit the Shanghai Museum, a large museum containing ancient Chinese art. Tonight, enjoy the famous Shanghai Acrobatic show.

World Expo - Shanghai

Day 10 – Friday, June 25, 2010
Shanghai (B/SD)

Today visit the World Expo in Shanghai, exploring a grand gathering of the world's culture at the 44 international pavilions, 3 domestic pavilions and 12 corporate pavilions. A one day Expo pass will be provided with scheduled roundtrip shuttle transfer. Tonight, enjoy a special farewell dinner.

Day 11 – Saturday, June 26, 2010
Shanghai – Mississauga or Hong Kong (B)

Transfer to the airport for your return flight to Mississauga, or for your flight to Hong Kong for those joining the extended excursion to Hong Kong and Macau.

Shanghai – Hong Kong (B)

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Hong Kong. Spend two days in Hong Kong, a British colony until 1997, and experience the vibrancy of this "Pearl of the Orient".

Hong Kong

You will have the chance to order your tailor-made suits, shirts and dresses at the most affordable prices. Shop and dine all day long.

Day 13 – Monday, June 28, 2010
Hong Kong – Macau

Transfer to the Kowloon pier for the Turbojet ferry to Macau.

Day 14 – Tuesday, June 29, 2010
Macau

Visit the most famous World Heritage Sites in this former Portuguese colony. You can also try your luck in the many casinos in this "Las Vegas of the Far East", including the Venetians, MGM, Wynn, and the City of Dreams.

Day 15 – Wednesday, June 30, 2010
Macau – Hong Kong – Mississauga

Transfer to the pier for the Turbojet ferry to Hong Kong. Upon arrival, transfer to the airport for your return flight home.
